Rolf Findeisen delivers plenary talk at the 2022 IFAC Mechatronics/MoViC Symposia on “Safe – yet optimal and flexible control and planning for mechatronic systems fusing machine learning and predictive control"
17.10.2022
Rolf Findeisen was invited to deliver a plenary talk on "Safe – yet optimal and flexible control and planning for mechatronic systems fusing machine learning and predictive control” at the 9th IFAC Symposium on Mechatronic Systems (Mechatronics 2022) and the 16th International Conference on Motion and Vibration Control (MoViC 2022). The symposia took place from September 7-9, 2022 at the beautiful campus of the University of California, Los Angeles. Link
The other plenary speakers where Masayoshi Tomizuka (UC Berkley), John Ringwood (Maynooth University), Kon-Well Wang (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor), Keqiang Li (Tsinghua University).
Mechatronics is the premiere symposia of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) on Mechatronics and Control. It takes place all 3 years. This year approximately 300 participants were present. Mechatronics was inaugurated in Germany in 2000, when it was organised by Rolf Isermann. Link
