Announcement for a Master's Thesis:

Task “Traveling Salesman”

2020/08/18

Master's thesis in collaboration with Hahn Automation

Automated assembly and production systems have the task of manufacturing and assembling components in a cyclical process without user intervention. At the end of a cycle, the mechanical actuators return in their entirety as a subsystem to the so-called basic position, from which they then start the next cycle. During the so-called home position travel, the system control must be able to transfer the actuators in their respective state to the previously defined home position travel. The definition of the sequence of steps should be solved in the advertised work using an optimization algorithm, the so-called traveling salesman problem.
