By Bus and Train

From Darmstadt main station you reach the Friedrich-Ludwig-Weidig-Saal in building S3|20 via tram lines 2 ( Campus Lichtwiese) and 3 (Lichtenbergschule) or bus lines H (Kranichstein/Kesselhutweg, Bussteig 4) and K (Alfred-Messel-Weg, Bussteig 2), leave the tram/bus at station Schloss. From there it is a 3 minute walk to the Darmstadtium. Cross the road at the traffic lights in direction Schlossgraben. Between Darmstadtium (left) and TU Darmstadt buildings (right), starting with the Hexagon (S3|11), move straight ahead along the Erich-Ollenhauer-Promenade until you reach the Building S3|20 (right), where the Friedrich-Ludwig Weidig-Saal is located.

By Car

Leave the motorway A5 or A67 at the exit Darmstadt. Follow the signs TU Stadtmitte in direction downtown straight on. Enter the city tunnel and take the middle lane. After 500 m you leave the tunnel to the left. Then turn left at the first traffic lights after the tunnel. Continue straight ahead through another traffic light and turn right at the next traffic light to Q-Park Darmstadtium, which is also just across the street to Welcome Hotel/Kongresshotel. From Q-Park Darmstadtium you walk to Erich-Ollenhauer-Promenade (direction building S3|20).

From the Frankfurt Airport

From Frankfurt Airport, the Airliner Bus runs from Terminal 1 (bus stop 14) and Terminal 2 directly to Darmstadt (travel time approx. 35 minutes). In Darmstadt, get off at Darmstadtium (stop Darmstadt Kongresszentrum). Between Darmstadtium (left) and TU Darmstadt buildings (right) starting with the Hexagon (S3|11) move straight ahead along the Erich-Ollenhauer-Promenade until you reach the Building S3|20 (right), where the Friedrich-Ludwig Weidig-Saal is located. (On your return journey with the Airliner Bus you can also start again directly from the Darmstadtium.)
