Dr. Sebastian Clever studied industrial engineering and management at the Technical University of Darmstadt, specializing in electrical engineering. In the course of this study Dr. Clever deepened his technical knowledge, especially in the field of automation technology. Subsequently, he was a research assistant to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Rolf Isermann at the Institute of Automatic Control at the TU Darmstadt until 2009 and completed his doctorate with a thesis on model-based fault detection and diagnosis in diesel engines.
Following this work, Dr. Clever completed the three-year training as a patent attorney and has been a partner in the law office of Katscher Habermann Patentanwälte since 2013. Within the scope of his work as a patent attorney, Dr. Clever advises clients in particular on trademarks, designs and patents in almost all technical fields.
