PhD defence of Marcel Bonnert
On November 08, the time had finally come: Marcel Bonnert successfully defended his dissertation!

Under the watchful eyes and ears of Athena and the examination board, Mr. Bonnert gave his presentation and was intensively tested in his knowledge.
The title of Mr. Bonnert's PhD thesis is: Identification, analysis and control of nonlinear dynamical systems using the Koopman operator, artificial neural networks and linear state controllers.
The board of examiners was composed as follows:

Under COVID19 conditions, the disputation took place as a hybrid event. The examination board and the doctoral candidate were on site at the institute. Guests were able to join in via zoom.
